Measuring your strap is incredibly simple and having one that fits your wrist perfectly makes the whole
process of owning a BlackHound strap even more memorable.
Let’s help you run through what you need to know in 3 short steps!
lUse a ruler or Vernier callipers to measure the internal gap between the pair of lugs.
If your lugwidths are odd numbered, a strap size slightly smaller would still fit.
Eg. (19mm lugwidth would fit a 18mm leather strap)
1. Wrap a piece of string around your wrist and annotate it with a marker.
2. Lay the string tautly adjacent to a ruler to determine your wrist length
[ Which part of my wrist do I measure? ]
It's recommended you measure the length before your wristbone, but this is up to your individual preference on where you wear your watch!
If you already have a strap that fits you well. Measure its length against a ruler.
Note: Do not include the buckle length when measuring the shorter side of a strap!
Thats it! you’re all set on getting a perfect strap.
